Ladies’ Night for CMEE: Wednesday, August 6, 6-8 p.m. Enjoy summer wines, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a Marfa Stance trunk show—with proceeds benefiting the Children’s Museum of the East End at a private home in Bridgehampton.
Sag Harbor:
Sag Harbor Fire Department Annual Carnival: Tuesday, August 5 - Saturday, August 9 from 5-10 p.m. Insider tip: Arrive before 5 p.m. to skip long ticket lines, and bring cash—it's traditionally cash only. Don’t miss the fireworks on Friday, August 8.
East Hampton:
9th Annual Summer Design Luncheon: Thursday, August 7, 11 a.m. Held at the Maidstone Club, this event benefits the East Hampton Historical Society and features renowned interior designer Marshall Watson discussing his new book, Defining Elegance.
21st Annual Authors Night: Saturday, August 9, 5–7:30 p.m. at Herrick Park. Featuring 100 authors, the evening includes a cocktail reception and book signing. Proceeds benefit the East Hampton Library.
Southampton:
The Magic Hour, by ABC Carpet & Home: Wednesday, August 6, 5–7 p.m. ABC Carpet & Home’s Southampton pop-up, this free family evening features crafts and DIY projects for kids, plus light bites, smoothies, and frozen yogurt.
East Hampton:
KidFEST: The Little Mermen—Disney Tribute Band: Wednesday, August 6, 12-1 p.m. or 4:30–5:30 p.m. at Guild Hall. A high-energy, family-friendly show inviting Disney fans of all ages to sing along to beloved classics.
East Hampton Library Free Children’s Fair: Sunday, August 10, 2–5:30 p.m. at Herrick Park. This annual event features carnival rides, games, a children’s book fair, themed crafts, community booths, raffles, and snacks—free for all families.
Mattituck:
Peach Festival at Harbes Family Farm: Saturday, August 9 - Sunday, August 10, 9 a.m. -7 p.m. Enjoy peach-eating contests, pig races, hayrides, live music, games, ice cream, and full access to the Barnyard Adventure.
